A leading online lead generation and price comparison business is looking for a Business Development Account Executive to play a key role in the development, management and retention of business customers and contribute to the management of a product area.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking for a change in career. If you are a quantitative, analytical, charismatic professional with c. 12 months + experience, looking to be part of a growing and exciting business in the online space this opportunity will provide you with a cross-business view and the ability to develop a P&L.

Our client delivers qualified customer leads for UK clients in the personal finance, healthcare and education industries and generate traffic for loans, mortgages, debt management, life insurance, credit cards, health insurance, broadband and energy switching.

Depending on experience you will be trained to manage a number of smaller accounts or may develop and manage a whole product area.  You’ll perform quick and accurate quantitative analysis to understand the performance of different clients and commercial deals.  You’ll contribute to all aspects of the product area that you are working on including understanding marketing, website, commercial and regulatory requirements to make the product a success.

For the right candidate this will mean the opportunity to be given responsibility and learn at an accelerated pace from an early stage.  In turn you will share in the benefits of growth. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development and the Company Directors, within a short space of time you will be taking on a high level of responsibility.

Ideal candidates could come from a range of commercial backgrounds, including sales, consultancy, trading, corporate finance and banking - it's just important to be looking for an exciting change and to have a strong appetite to be part of a growing, online company.

Requirements:

Analytical ability - Essential

Fast learner, confident, articulate and persuasive communicator - Essential

Inquisitive and entrepreneurial with high energy levels - Essential

Interest in new media - Essential

Working knowledge of online marketing fundamentals - Desired

1-4 years commercial experience - Desired (outstanding graduate may be considered)

Good degree from a top-tier university - Essential
