Risk Manager (VP/Director)

Our client is No. 1 banking group in Korea and the HK office(IB) is looking for a risk manager.

It is a new position- the candidate has to set up and manage the system in dept. so it would be a good opportunity to exposure.

Responsibilities:

1. Formulate and implement overall risk management policies and procedures for controlling the risk exposure of the Bank, and ensure regulatory compliance with Supervisory Policy Manual of the HKMA

2. Participate in the development of system, program and conduct analysis for market risk and operational risk management

3. Carry out day-to-day risk monitoring, regular risk reporting, and follow up trading excess with various business units.

4. Ensure risk exposures are managed within the approved limits and in accordance with firm’s policies.

5. Identify and report risk issues to management and recommend necessary action.

6. Perform risk analyses for credit committee and credit administration functions.

7. Perform on-going review and update to firm’s risk management policies and procedures.

8. Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives such as system enhancement and migration, new product set up and implementation, etc.

Requirements:

1. Degree holder in Finance, Risk Management, Accounting or related disciplines

2. Min. 4 years’ experience in managing level in risk management

3. Mature and detail-oriented with excellent communication and analytical skills.

4. Languages: both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin an advantage).
