Work with a market leading team delivering tailor made solutions to a range of multinational clients. Our Shared Services Practice focuses on the full life cycle of a shared services project from Feasibility study through to Design, Build and Implementation of a new shared service centre for our clients. This means you will experience the entire project lifecycle from conception to completion.
 

A role within our Shared Services team gives the opportunity to focus enabling companies to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of back-office operations through the development of shared services. The concept of shared services rests upon three principles: standardisation, consolidation and reengineering of people, processes, technology and location, which we deliver through the application of our Comprehensive Shared Services Methodology .

Working with a range of clients will broaden your industry knowledge whilst deepening your consulting skills. In addition, you will have the opportunity of taking ownership of the deliverables and resources of a project.
 
The vast learning and development opportunities that are available means you’ll be able to play a key point in influencing account development and supporting sales activities in our target FTSE 250 accounts.
 
As a Manager in the team you’ll develop your leadership capabilities by effectively managing teams for the delivery of client work whilst also playing an active role in the career development of more junior team members.
 
The role involves:
  • Identifies areas of improvement in client decision-making framework
  • Understands and questions client support processes and impacts
  • Demonstrates an expertise of the link between cost structure and business decisions
  • Develops performance measures
  • Cultivates and closes follow-on opportunities at existing clients
  • Manages project on-time and budget
  • Demonstrates understanding of shareholder value and value based management
  • Applies financial modelling techniques when applicable
  • Structures proposals, entire documents in context of engagement
  • Manages, encourages and motivates team on projects
 
To qualify, you’ll have: 
  • Qualified/Part Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA
  • Minimum 2nd class degree or equivalent
  • Experience of 3-4 SSC projects
  • Proven ability to lead teams
  • Good problem solving and project management skills
  • Full Travel Mobility
