Position Description:
Position Description - The candidate should have a strong understanding of the market and environmental rules and regulations relevant to the sales, trading, transport, storage and marketing of crude oil and petroleum products as well as related financial derivatives. An ideal candidate would have 5-10 years of experience.

We are willing to expand our search to qualified candidates without specific experience in compliance provided that they have a working knowledge of the markets, laws and regulations. For example, we would not rule out a candidate who has equivalent operational experience with limited compliance experience. The candidate should have experience visiting and understanding a Firm's sales and trading floor, interacting with different levels of business unit management and conducting presentations.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Developing a trade surveillance program for detecting possible violations of regulatory rules and Firm policies.
2. Providing advice to business and support units on regulatory rules and Firm policies.
3. Responding to regulatory inquiries, examinations and investigations.
4. Writing Compliance Notices and Manuals.
5. Implementing compliance policies and procedures
6. Developing training programs on relevant regulations for business unit and support staffs.
7. Participating in the new product approval process.
