Are you a qualified accountant who would enjoy being part of a team dedicated to improving the quality and depth of performance analysis? This is a role where you would be in a strong team working as a business partner, adding real value to the business with one of the UK’s leading Financial Services firms

The Business Performance team is responsible for the financial planning and analysis of this FS giant. This encompasses the annual business planning process, including the effective communication of strategic objectives throughout the business; the preparation of quarterly financial forecasts; monthly reporting of key drivers of the business and progress against these targets; and ongoing business partnering to provide high quality performance analysis to a wide range of business managers, including Executive Directors.

Key responsibilities of the role will be:

To contribute to the development of the team as a business partner, and build & manage effective relationships across the organisation to enable this To work with the business to efficiently build robust and stretching annual plans and quarterly forecasts To develop and deliver high quality monthly reporting of financials and KPIs against plans and forecasts that meet the needs of the business To perform ad hoc investigatory analysis and project work as required To maximise synergies across the Business Performance team by working effectively with colleagues and building strong understanding of the business as a whole

While previous experience within an FS environment would be beneficial it is not essential.
