A leading legal, private client and asset management firm is currently sourcing a Tax Administration Assistant to work within the tax team in their city centre office. The Tax Administration Assistant will provide an all round administration service for the Tax Team.
Responsibilities of the Tax Administration Assistant:
Collate and sort tax vouchers and various pieces of tax information from clients and external sources and input onto PerTax and SecTax
Review tax packs and input information onto SecTax
Update capital gains records for capital transactions and produce dividend report
Check dividends against law soft/vouchers/tax packs
Prepare cash room entries and spreadsheets to make tax payments and advising Investment Department of funds required
Obtain and sort tax vouchers from Investment Department to aid compiling of tax information - storing of these vouchers
In Group secretary's absence, dealing with mail, typing, fax sending updating client lists, opening tax matters and files
Person Specification for the Tax Administration Assistant:
Previous experience in tax administration
Previous experience within financial services an advantage
Previous academia within tax or accountancy an advantage
This is a 3 month temp role for a Tax Administration Assistant paying a competitive rate with the definite potential of a permanent role or extension.
