Bank seeks senior orginations officer responsible for business development and strategic relationship management activities in the Midwest for Fortune 500 companies.

• Evaluate customers’ financing and non-credit requirements, and determine the most appropriate arrangements. Develop, structure, propose and negotiate financing and non-credit transactions for existing and prospective customers.

• Manage strategic customer relationships in geographic region.

• Be primary bank contact for all clients within assigned portfolio/territory.

• Formulate business strategy and specific initiatives for business development in line with the Bank’s objectives.

• Research market area including relevant industries as part of development and implementation of an overall marketing plan.

• Analyze creditworthiness of companies in advance of marketing efforts, as well as constantly continue to evaluate the same.

• Respond to various customer requests.

• Report clients’ comments and feedback to senior management.

Job Requirements

• High-level marketing skills to originate agent/arranger business with Fortune 500 companies

• Strong credit, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving and decision making skills.

• Superior written and oral communication skills (including presentation skills) plus negotiating abilities.

• Industry/sector knowledge as appropriate to serve as industry expert as required.
