Our client is a renowned world leader in private equity. For over 60 years it has been working with thousands of outstanding businesses worldwide. With significant growth in Asia, there is now an opportunity for an experienced and commercially astute finance professional to join its team to manage the finance aspects of the business across the region.

Reporting to the Ops and Finance Director, this role focuses on financial reporting, control, legal reporting, and statutory accounting for the region’s entities. In this role, you will actively liaise/ co ordinate with HQ and work closely with senior management team, Legal, Compliance, HR and other internal departments across the region. In addition, you will work with auditors, tax advisors, trust and admin service providers. There will be some seasonal travelling of around 30% to 40% required for this role.

To be considered for this role, you must have at least 10 years’ experience with a focus on accounts preparation. Hands-on experience of managing a small finance team is essential. In addition, you have worked in an international environment with the ability to communicate finance issues both verbally and in writing to HQ and to the local business. Ability to see the big picture while being detailed oriented is essential for this role. Exposure to the private equity or financial institution industry is an added plus (though not a must). Other relevant experience includes strong tax exposure, management and financial accounting and reporting experience. In addition, you are a collaborative; results focused person with a positive and problem solving mindset.
