Generate revenue streams via regulated products to existing Citibank clients.
Actively contact and meet with Citi clients to cross-sell Wealth Management products. Source new clients through referrals and networking.
Delivery of the financial plan and achievement of the business objectives and targets.
Proactively work with other Investment Consultants / Wealth Advisers, Relationship Managers, Personal Bankers and all lead generators to drive sales
Ensure all sales are delivered to Customers are in a fully compliant manner and adhere to the principles of TCF
Job Background/Context:
This is a regulated sales role providing financial advice to Citibank customers. The offering is currently made up of Investments (whole of market), bespoke structured products and protection. The role will be office/branch based and will involve meetings being conducted on- and off-site. The Investment Consultant reports directly to the Investment Sales Manager. Other key interactions will be with Citigold Relationship Managers; Investment Operations team; Compliance function and other members of the Retail Banking team. The main lead source is currently via introducers from Citibank Branches.
Job Responsibilities:
Proactively meet customer needs by advising clients on investment and protection needs from a whole of market and multi-tied offering.
Source new target market clients that support the attainment of business objectives and targets.
Acquire and apply product knowledge to satisfy client financial and investment needs.
Effectively manage referred clients to deliver financial targets.
Act in accordance with all regulatory, compliance, KYC and TCF policies (both internal and external) and communicate to clients as appropriate.
Adopt a “hands on” approach to client contact and timely follow up.
Develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of wealth management products in order to meet client needs.
Provide a first class level of service to ensure that clients are satisfied and continue to do business with Citibank.
Coach and develop branch introducers to ensure quality of leads referred is at the required standard.
Pro-actively participate as a member of the Investment Consultant team contributing towards team targets and promoting teamwork.
Ensure all MIS is maintained to a high standard to allow detailed analysis of activities and sales
