Supporting with Markit’s core data products and database, the new team member is responsible for client support related to a wide array of fixed income and credit product areas including bonds, CDS, credit indices, tranches, loans, and loan CDS. The position is located in London.

Duties and Accountabilities - Managing current development teams and projects along with recruiting for future products
Business Competencies - This individual must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success in delivering complex development projects to tight deadlines within a commercial organisation - ideally within the financial marketplace.
- You must be very comfortable working with senior management and executives on setting product strategy and priorities, setting the pace for new product deliverables and assisting in driving the strategic direction for Markit’s Credit business.
- Deep Credit Derivatives product expertise and knowledge of the Credit markets
- Solid, demonstrable experience in leading software development projects
- Proven project delivery and execution
Personal Competencies - The successful candidate must have the necessary leadership, communication and relationship skills to interface with developers, senior executives and product heads
- Proven development team leadership history and skills
- Demonstrable history of building working relationships while managing deliverables and projects among diverse teams
Travel is occasionally required to support the products but is not expected to be significant.
