Be a key member of the Commercial team and responsible for building and developing relationships with new and existing clients. The role requires initiative, balanced by a steady perspective and with the persistence to overcome cultural, geographical and technical challenges bringing deals through to launch.

Responsibilities

Develop business with new clients – manage entire selling process from first contact with the prospect, negotiations, development & presentation of formal business proposals, co-ordination of back office processes, through to signing new contract and retaining the client long term
Develop proactively training & marketing tools in order to achieve the expected results from the new business launched
Manage client relationships according to agreed service standards by providing day-to-day support and resolution of client complaints and problems
Draft, agree and achieve the annual business plan for the client/s
Identify new distribution channels within client relationships and leverage these to develop new business / increase client revenue
Personal budgetary responsibility relating to specific clients handled
Monitor the performance of client schemes including sales and marketing methods, results penetration and claims trends analysis
Keep up to date with the company's products and clients, and with market trends for creditor insurance, including new product opportunities and developing products that have the potential to meet client opportunities
Co-ordinate activities with internal teams (in particular Actuarial, Legal, Finance, Marketing)

Education & Experience

University degree and/or equivalent work related experience
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Cultural sensitivity to work well with colleagues in different countries / regions
Fluent in Hungarian, with a good level of English skills
PC literate (PowerPoint/Word/Excel)
Strong planning and analytical skills
Experience in developing effective presentation materials
Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and reach targets, whilst being able to execute
Proven experience in Financial Services ideally the insurance market
Relevant insurance training and qualifications
