Lehman Brothers are looking for a proven manager to join their cash and stockloan settlements team for the newly formed Emerging Markets Group. The successful candidate have a proven track record of risk management/awareness, project implementation and managing and motivating a large and diverse team.
Duties & Responsibilities: To include but not be limited to
Strong knowledge of the risk and control issues associated with transaction management and be able to manage/mitigate the associated risk in these markets.
Managing and motivating a large team, communicating any relevant information, provide guidance and career development and participation in the mid and end of year appraisal processes
Ability to identify opportunities or process improvements
Review daily MIS identifying, questioning and escalating issues and managing fails
Focus on STP and clearance expenditure
Participate in presentations on CCP and other market initiatives
Liaison with agent banks, operations support teams, treasury, traders, and sales people
Actively participate in project and development testing of internal systems upgrades or changes relating to new market initiatives
Actively participate and provide opinions and direction in agent reviews and RFPs

Knowledge, Skill, Experience Required:
Proven track record in a similar management role
Risk aware, control minded and results orientation
Good communication and presentation skills
Time management and prioritisation skills
Understanding of various business streams
Strong understanding of market/exchange flows (CCPs) and processes (e.g. ISO15022)
Good Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint skills and Business Objects
Proven ability to motivate and manage a large team
