This Banking Group’s consumer banking business is a key market of the bank contributing to a significant part of the Group’s P&L. Providing an expansive suite of products and facilities to a demanding Asia based clientele, the bank’s expansion has resulted in new opportunities.
(A) VP Financial Controller - Unsecured Finance -Responsible for the financial analysis of the unsecured portfolio such as cards and cashline -Work closely with the business to help understand the growth drivers and support business initiatives -Lead the development and improvement of the analysis process
(B) VP Business Finance – Secured & Investments Responsible for the performance analysis on the consumer banking market with a focus across secured products (mortgages) and investments -Consult product heads to help improve margins in a highly competitive and rates sensitive environment -Liaise with treasury and credit to help review the cost of funding and liquidity risks
(C) VP/AVP – Sales & Distribution (2 positions) -Apply analytical tools to study and report revenue streams across the bank’s extensive retail network -Understand the margins, product demand and market penetration across the branch network -Help the business to comprehend the revenue mix across different localities -Experience from a non-banking commission or retail sales analysis environment will be considered
(D) VP Finance Controller - Travel Business -The bank’s travel planner business has more than 100 staff supporting across a large consumer client base -Responsible for all the numbers related to this business such as head office reporting and business performance analysis -Work with the business to assist sales in achieving revenue objectives -A non-banking related travel/sales finance experience can be relevant
(E) AVP Expense Analyst -Responsible for the analysis and review of expense with running the consumer banking business -Work with Sales & Distribution analysts to understand profit margins and cost drivers -Assist the consumer bankers in understanding the expense lines associated with revenue initiatives to help manage the cost and expense related with the business or product launches -A non-banking expense analysis background will be considered
