Our client, an integrated energy trading company, is searching for a bright, motivated Trading Analyst to join their growing trading analytics department
The role offers the opportunity to work closely with the front trading office, providing information to assist with the development of trading strategies across gas, power, oil, coal and carbon trading. The Trading Analytics Team covers Fundamental Analysis, Market Analysis and Econometrics.
It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in each of the areas to broaden their experience and to gain a detailed understanding of the team’s activities. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong mathematical and technical ability gained through academic achievement and relevant work experience. Computer skills including VBA and C++ are imperative. Candidates from outside an energy trading environment will be considered but they will be expected to demonstrate a genuine interest in the energy markets.
