A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our projects team, based at Takapuna's beachside location! Joining a very stable team as a Senior BA within Aegis, you will be involved in the implementation of exciting new long term projects! Simultaneously, key responsibilities of the role include the collection and writing of business requirement specifications for Aegis Developments on either allocated projects or the Aegis BAU stream, where you will perform the lead BA role on projects. You will work closely with clients to understand business requirements and ensure that needs are successfully met; undertake acceptance testing and validation of all Aegis development work, as well as undertake relevant training of key users and support staff, and much more! This is a busy and challenging role! Totalling circa 70 staff, Aegis offer a fun, busy and engaged environment where strong teamwork has contributed significantly to our work hard, play hard culture! We are looking for someone with a solid background in the wealth management industry (3 years +), experience in dealing with complex BA issues, ability to display a high level of intellectual horsepower, and at least 3 years experience from a core BA role within the financial services field. SQL knowledge is desirable but not essential. Highly developed testing skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and customer focus skills are critical.
