A position for an Auckland based management consultant has arisen following the relocation of a consultant to the Australian practice of this international professional services firm. As a result my client is seeking someone who has worked within similar organisations at the Senior Consultant or Manager level. The work of this firm is varied and interesting, and includes periods of work outside Auckland from time to time. As a general guide, to be successful in this role you will have, in addition to your organisation experience:

• Exposure to Six Sigma or similar methodologies for ongoing business improvement.
• Understanding of business process and organisation structure reorganisation.
• Facilitated strategic analysis, option development and business cases in support of preferred options.
• Managed teams undertaking implementation of people, process and technology changes within medium to large organisations.
• A commensurate business degree to go along with your more than 6 years of professional consulting experience.

The role will be within an existing team and will include both individual and team projects. As such your experience in managing other consultants will be an integral part of the selection decision.
