International Bank is looking for a specialist to manage a portfolio of High Value and complex accounts in order to maximise account retention and income, minimise potential loss and protect the Group’s brand image.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
• Pro-actively manage a portfolio of high value and complex leveraged connections, working with Relationship Managers, Regional Teams, Members and their Professional Advisors, to agree and implement “turnaround” strategies, or recover the Bank’s exposure where appropriate and monitor progress against approved strategies. • Maintain an effective and professional relationship with Private Equity Houses, Accountants, Surveyors and internal and external legal advisors to ensure high service levels are provided and maximise cross referrals. • Sanction strategies and facilities within personal authority • Approve and overview Bad Debt provisions within personally authority
As a candidate you will possess:
• Strong leadership and coaching skills. • Strong negotiating and influencing skills. • Understanding of how business operates and ability to devise and implement appropriate strategies for turnaround situations so as to achieve a sustainable trading position. • Understanding of business disposal, restructuring and insolvency processes
