We are looking for people to work in multi disciplinary project teams that deliver exceptional value for clients realising benefit from their finance ERP solutions including consolidation tools and budgeting and reporting tools.
We are looking for people with experience of the following Oracle \ Hyperion packages:
Hyperion Financial Management
Hyperion Planning
Hyperion Performance Scorecard
Hyperion Strategic Finance
Role Description
The primary focus of the role will be working on client projects. You will be expected to lead project activity staffed by Deloitte and/or the client. As is the nature of project work you will be required to perform a wide range of activities, this could include though is not limited to:
Business case definition of approach and preparation
Implementing Finance system’s standard processes
Coordination and documentation of internal processes
Requirements gathering/analysis workshops
Solution design
Set-up and coordination of user testing
Production configuration and hand-over
Development of finance process training material
Delivery of training to new and experienced users
Coordinating pre- and post-go live activities
Onsite go-live support
Systems improvements and extensions
Service Delivery:
Lead project teams and create vision for delivering the engagement
Directs the team to provide exceptional service to the client by responding with a sense of urgency, practicality, accountability, integrity, and respect.
Develop relationships with senior client management. Develop and sustain CXO relationships.
Manage revenue to the value of ?1.5m per annum
Develop EA Finance practice by developing the Hyperion reporting team
Mentor team on achieving excellence
Must have in-excess of 10 years delivery experience. Including at least 8 Financial reporting implementations
Sales:
Originate opportunities to the value of ?1.5m per annum
Develop opportunities
Perform contract negotiations
Manage risk
Must have a proven track record of developing sales
Although not essential it would be desirable to have had experience in one or more of the following industry areas:
Financial Services;
Telecommunications, Media or Technology
Public Sector
Consumer business
In addition, applicants should also be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills as this role involves extensive client contact.
Candidates should be qualified to degree level or have equivalent experience, ideally having achieved upper second class.
MBA, ICAEW, CIMA or other relevant professional body would be advantageous.
