A world-leading financial services company is seeking a Senior C# Winforms developer.

The candidate will work within the Emerging Markets (EM) IT team based in New York, which is responsible for delivering a new initiative to build the strategic risk system and facilitate the elimination of spreadsheets by developing a robust, high performance solution for intra-day and end-of-day processing.

* Solid experience with C# Winforms

* Experience with Oracle 10G database is a big plus

* Solid understanding of GUI development

* Experience with C++ is a big plus

* Solid understanding of database Design

* 5+ Year experience with OOP

* Solid understanding of OOD and OOP

* The ideal candidate is able to contribute technology expertise, solid software engineering skills and knowledge of fixed income markets and applications.

* The successful candidate will work with all of these technologies to implement solutions.

* The role involves analyzing existing risk implementations (often spreadsheets),

* interacting with other teams in the bank (Risk Measurement and Management, Product Control, Global Modeling and Analytics, etc)

* Design and specification work in addition to software development.
