• Timely and accurate payment of salaries and bonuses to employees
• Liaison with our global payroll provider:
• Ensuring they have the necessary information to process payroll accurately and on time
• Resolving of employee or management queries with them.
• Checking of monthly payroll register for all countries and presenting to the European Manager: Payroll & HRIS for approval.
• Improving, implementing and maintaining payroll process across Europe
• Supporting and providing input into the global payroll automation project.
• Responsible for assisting in the set up of payroll as we expand into new countries
• Ensuring that Finance receives accurate and timely payroll information in the necessary format- Liaising with the Compensation & Benefits team.
• Production of Payroll reports and analytics.
• Ensuring (with our payroll provider) that Genworth is compliant with any relevant legislation.

Preferred candidate skills / qualifications:

• Educated to degree level
• 2nd European language
• Insurance Industry experience
• IPPM Certification

Essential skills / experience required:

• Substantial payroll processing experience in a multi-country environment
• Sound understanding of the technical/statutory aspects of European payroll (taxation, equity, ex-pats etc.)
• Interpersonal skills & sound communication ability (Essential for Internal and external/vendor relations)
