Deloitte is currently seeking ambitious and motivated individuals to take a leading role in the growth of our Sales Effectiveness consulting team. The role is at Senior Manager level, and the successful candidate will demonstrate deep industry or consulting experience in shaping two or more of the following: - Sales strategy and sales operating model design including business case development and benefits realisation
- Customer segmentation, Routes to Market design (including indirect channel) and definition of target activity and service levels
- Sales force organisation design, role definition and resource sizing
- Sales and customer data analysis (cost of sale, channel profitability, customer profitability, sales resource productivity and performance)
- Sales force performance management and KPI design
- Sales process design including account management, lead generation and opportunity management, pipeline management, territory management and range planning
- The shaping, sale and leading of the delivery of sales-related CRM implementation (including Siebel and Salesfroce.com)
You will have come from a challenging and fast paced Sales environment (either in a sales effectiveness consultancy or senior industry sales management role) which will give you the foundation to develop an inspiring career within Deloitte. In addition to building on their experience above, the ideal candidate will be looking for: - A broad exposure to CRM strategy and operational improvement programmes
- Management in a number of functional areas using solid strategic and analytical skills
- Management and delivery of large and small, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business-led (and often technology-enabled) solutions in the client’s sales function
- A role that contributes to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:
- Engagement Management: scoping and planning of engagements, management of delivery of these engagements including engagement risk, team management, project economics, definition of deliverable content, gaining buy-in for proposed solutions from senior client stakeholders
- Business Development: development of contacts with top decision makers at targets clients, organising and leading bid teams, participating or leading aspects of the proposal development process, contributing to proposal pricing strategy.
- Practice Development & Eminence: development of solutions and methodologies, leadership of the Sales and Selling Excellence community, including development of 'thoughtware' and 'point-of-view' documents, public speaking and publication in industry periodicals.
- People Development: coaching and mentoring, providing input and guidance into the firm’s staffing process, and actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities.
