Our client is an established player in the private equity fund of funds market, investing in US and European funds and currently managing funds of c.$2bn. It is now looking to recruit an Investment Manager.
Our client is a long established player in the private equity fund of funds market, investing in US and European funds. Founded over 20 years ago, it is currently managing funds of c.$2bn from international investors - including major institutions - and it has a highly successful track record of developing innovative fund strategies. Continued success and a commitment to further growth has led to a requirement to recruit an Investment Manager who will join a team investing in venture funds in both Europe and the US, as well as assisting with fund raising activities.
Candidates will have gained experience in one or more of the following environments;
. a fund of funds; or
. a private equity, venture capital or mezzanine fund.
All applicants must be self-starters and possess excellent academic credentials, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to originate and market investment ideas, both externally and within the firm. The ability to manage relationships with portfolio fund managers is key and fluency in a second European language, would be advantageous. Successful candidates will join a growing company with a meritocratic team-orientated culture.
