A major China Fund Management is now seeking for an equity research analyst for their Financial/Commodity/Chemical/Electronics/Healthcare Sector
Our client is a major player in the China fund management market with about 200 billion RMB of asset under management from mutual funds and institutional account. It has emerged as a well-recognized brand name among investors with their performance. Along with their focus on providing investor with quality service, they offer investors various investment products along the risk spectrum with different risk/return tradeoff to meet clients’ investment needs. With continuous growth, they are now seeking for an equity research analyst join their team.
Based in Guangzhou, China, you will be responsible in conducting in-depth fundamental research on the respective sectors: Financials, Commodity, Chemical, Electronics and Healthcare. Your main duties include following up with listed companies in these sectors; writing up research reports and presenting the reports to the team; and managing close relationship with sell side research analysts and other research institutions, leveraging the outside researches to gather valuable information.
To qualify, you will be a master degree holder in Science/ Engineering or in Economics/Management with 2-5 years of experience in the equity research area. You will have strong skills in gathering information and analyzing the data, and possess strong presentation skills and communication skills. Sector experience in sector coverage is preferred, and candidates with strong industry background will also be considered. Excellent command of English and Mandarin is a prerequisite.
