US conglomerate seeks a legal counsel to join their well established regional team.

Our client is a US conglomerate who seeks a legal counsel to join their well established regional team. The Legal Counsel will be based in Seoul with regional responsibilities for North Asia. The role will require a close working relationship with the respective country sales directors in providing legal and compliance advice on a wide variety of business issues arising out of the region. Our client seeks candidates with minimum of 6 years experience with significant law firm experience. Substantial experience in reviewing and documenting commercial contracts involving the sale and purchase of goods and service transactions. Excellent communication and drafting skills are essential in the role as is the ability to negotiate contracts with commercial and military customers. Experience with government procurement contracts is preferred. Applicants must be admitted UK/US/Korea/Japan preferred. Fluency in written and spoken English is necessary, fluency in Korean or Japanese is desirable.
