For our client, a leading financial service provider, we are searching a Structured Alternative Investments Sales Professional for the location Zurich

Job Description

The alternative investments sales professional will be responsible for the sales of hedge funds, funds of hedge funds and absolute return funds to institutional investors and third party distributors within the German speaking region. The primary client focus will be on insurances and pension funds as well as on third party distribution via banks (High-Net-Worth Individuals) and family offices.

Requirement Profile

Ideally, the potential candidate has a degree in economics or business administration and a CFA or DVFA certificate. He/She has gained a minimum experience of 4 to 5 years in asset management focusing on funds sales, preferably on alternative investments solutions, e.g. hedge funds, funds of hedge funds and absolute return funds. Furthermore, the ideal candidate possesses excellent personal client contacts within the German speaking institutional and third party distribution community. Additional essential features are an independent, responsible and enthusiastic approach combined with a confident and obliging appearance. The ideal candidate comes across as sophisticated alternative asset management professional and is able to generate substantial client business. Preferred candidates have excellent interpersonal skills, are customer focussed and assume willingly customer responsibility.

Furthermore, the potential candidate shall meet the following requirements:

  • The knowledge of German is strongly recommended, while any other languages are a plus
