Number One company in the eurozone in total global assets is looking for a Senior C++/Unix developer to design and develop Market Data (MDS) software components.

SUMMARY

Design and develop Market Data Systems (MDS) software components, to provide low latency and highly reliable datafeeds to proprietary trading desks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

** Understand business requirements of new projects by working with traders and trading support teams. Candidate should have 5+ years of experience with C++, real time Multithreaded applications. Candidate should have experience with Market Data.

** Design and implement software components based on business requirements. Work closely with other internal IT teams to ensure maximum performance of network circuits and datafeed servers. For Exchange interfaces, communicate with market access providers to fully understand the protocols and datafeed processing details.

** Test to ensure system stability, recoverability, and lowest latency access to market data.

** Deliver implemented systems into production. Train first-level support staff in the operation of the systems. Develop technical and support documentation for the systems.

** Participate in the technical production support
