The KPMG Financial Services IT Advisory Project Advisory team provides a range of technology based advisory services to clients involved in Retail Banking.
Retail Banking sector clients range from the major UK banks and building societies, through to providers of core services to the industry.
Responsibilities The responsibilities will include:
Production of defined deliverables within a client project environment
Day to day relationship building with client staff
Supervision of junior members of a project team including both KPMG and client staff
Preparation of sales and proposal information for potential clients
Roles within the team principally involve programme and project delivery but will also require participation in some sales related activities, for example, preparing client proposals.
The Individual Successful candidates will have:
Strong knowledge of Retail Banking products & services
Track record of successfully delivering technology solutions in the industry
Experience of delivering major programmes as either a programme manager, solution architect, technical architect, test manager or business / systems analyst
Current experience of working either at Retail Banking organisations, at providers of professional services to the industry, or at vendors of core banking software
Individuals will need to be:
of Graduate calibre
Credible
Enthusiastic and hard working
Flexible in their approach to work
Able to learn quickly
Willing and able to work on a wide variety of different engagements in differing roles and locations
Other Information Engagements are likely to range in duration from a few weeks, e.g. health-check reviews of in-flight programmes, through to engagements of up to a year, e.g. advising on initiating a core system replacement programme and then working as part of the client's programme management team throughout the delivery.
