Our client seeks a fundamental credit analyst to join its Convertible Arbitrage Strategy, which invests in a wide variety of instruments, focusing on convertible securities and equity-linked products. The credit analyst will lead coverage of a broad range of issuers, and will analyze the financial conditions of companies and make investment recommendations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience performing fundamental credit analysis, and strong experience with leveraged finance, credit funds, and/or high yield bond analysis. Investment experience is strongly preferred, as is the ability to provide coverage on a variety of industries. Extraordinarily strong modeling and quantitative skills, a strong passion for investing, and a demonstrated aptitude for analyzing substantial amounts of data are required, as are excellent communication skills and a strong record of academic and professional achievement.
