A leading Investment Bank requires a Prime Brokerage Manager to work across numerous Markets and Disciplines. You must be a confident leader and have strong communication skills. The role requires you to deal with Senior Front Office traders and support existing BAU.
Our client is a global financial institution with a significant presence across the Asia Pacific region that offers a range of specialist products across Private Banking, Asset Management and Investment Banking. Currently, they are looking to hire an experienced manager for their Prime Brokerage team.
The role requires an experienced individual to manage their Prime Brokerage team. You will be required to work across multiple markets and disciplnes so need a strong operational background. As part of the global team you will be maintaining best practices, ensuring the successful delivery of planned and future employment, implementing MI to improve services to both Internal and External Clients. You will also be participating in new business initiatives. This role also requires the candidate to work closely with the London team and keep good relations. As a senior member of the team you will provide leadership and will also act as the point of escalation. As part of the management team you will also be required to control and review KPI's, ensure BCP plans are in place and work with the Change Management team.
The ideal candidate will have seven years Broker Dealer Operations experience, broad settlements experience and understanding. Client service experience will be desirable. Ideally you will also have strong business analysis skills and team management experiences. You are required to have a broad product knowledge covering OTC's, Listed Derivatives, Cash securities, FX Loans and Equity Finance. Experience working with IT is desirable.
