Ideally, you will be able to cover stocks immediately, as well as being happy assiting the senior analyst with some of his companies.

The role would entail:

• Carrying out detailed research on industry trends and changes in the competitive environment across these industries

• Maintenance and development of databases covering financial metrics, earnings etc, operating metrics in these areas

• Preparing models for use in research reports on a variety of topics

• Writing short notes on topics and companies, especially company updates around results

• Maintaining and developing marketing materials

We are interested in candidates who will have a background of one or more of the following:

- Telecoms equipment analysts from the sell or buy side

- Telecoms, or technology equity research analysts

- Strategy or business development professionals from companies such as Motorola, Nokia
