The Amsterdam office manages European indirect real estate – listed and non-listed. For the Real Estate Securities team, we are currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst. The job offers extensive international exposure and a chance to be part of a dynamic and challenging environment.
The Client: My client are a real estate investment management firm with over £14bn under management worldwide (of which c.50% is invested in UK and continental Europe) and is regulated by the FSA. They are currently made up of c.130 property staff with 6 offices across Europe and a further 16 across North America and Asia Pacific.
An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Analyst to join a team of 18 in their fast-paced Amsterdam office.
The Role: Primarily responsible for the coverage of European real estate securities for the Institutional clients of LaSalle Investment Management.
-Analyze stock exchange listed real estate companies in Europe -Identify possible potential investment opportunities -Build up and maintain close relationship with the internal and external stakeholders -Actively follow trends within direct real estate market in European regions -Periodically assist with advisory tasks for LaSalle clients -Prepare and write publications in several trade journals -Write reports on performance of the portfolios of clients -Contribute to external and internal presentations -Take part in conferences and or seminars regarding Real Estate Investments
What we’re looking for: -University degree in finance, real estate or related field -Preferably (studying for) CFA / VBA or willing to enroll in a post-graduated study -Minimum of two years of relevant work experience -Interest in investment and/or real estate market is beneficiary -Strong analytical skills -Team player -Flexibility on assignments and willingness to travel are required -Target-driven and result-orientated -Ability to work in international team of people with different backgrounds and roles -Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) or equivalent -Fluent in English is a must with preferably one or more other languages
