In this role, duties will comprise of negotiating customers and suppliers contracts and assisting with the integration of recently acquired businesses. You will also assist in the preparation of complex and bespoke agreements and undertake any other ad-hoc projects that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiating, drafting and reviewing of all day-to-day contracts in global environment
- Ensure that administration of contracts is carried out to specified standards i.e. contracts are recorded properly, final copies are filed and kept up to date
- Provide legal support on all key business initiatives and projects Assist in post acquisitions integration
- Escalated certain legal issues to head of Legal and senior management on a timely basis
Skills & Experience Required
- Trained at and qualified into a reputable law firm with a recognised financial services practice
- Strong commercial/pragmatic sense and understanding of business needs
- Must possess excellent analytical skills
- Proactive and enthusiastic, self motivated and a keen team player
- ability to prioritise and to work to set deadlines within a challenging environment
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethical sense
- Knowledge in intellectual property rights in financial markets will be an advantage
