Our client is a leading US investment bank seeking an experienced credit risk analyst who will report to the regional head of Asia Pacific Corporate Risk Management. The successful candidate will manage the business in a risk control environment working closely with the business heads.

Major Responsibilities:

• Reporting to a Director, the candidate will assist with the credit research and analysis of counterparties and approval of transactions throughout SE Asia. • The role will cover a variety of products such as Commodities, Fixed Income Equity Derivatives, Leveraged Finance, Debt Capital Markets, • The Portfolio will encompass Corporates and Financial Institutions. • Documenting the financial analysis and determining the levels of credit risk and product risk with the client. • Works closely with the business in structuring derivative transactions, loan products and all GMI product offerings involve capital commitments by the firm. • Perform on-site due diligence sessions with senior management, providing detailed client assessments, establishing appropriate risk limits, calculating appropriate risk and margin requirements on derivative transactions and approving transactions. • Establish credit terms for ISDA negotiations and familiarity with all forms of legal structures to mitigate risks with in the ISDA frame work. • Interact directly with sales and trading desks on trading requests. Essential Experience

• A strong and varied credit background with exposure to a wide range of industry groups and geographical locations. • A Finance degree holder with 7-10 years credit experience, preferably with significant time spent within Asia, or focusing on Asia Pacific based counterparties. • Solid credit research skills including working with complex financial models and ability to conduct independent due diligence. • Previous exposure to debt and fixed income markets/products, especially OTC derivatives. • Knowledge of ISDA documentation and exposure in negotiation of same. • Some exposure to leveraged / project finance would be an advantage. • Strong relationship building skills and independent client facing ability (both internal business unit and external customers). • A track record of excellent credit judgment. • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Mandarin will be a plus.
