Due to our continuing growth, we are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our outstanding team of Consultants based in Amsterdam, working with clients in the Benelux region.

With an industry-leading reputation for service, our Consulting Department provides the essential link between our clients and our products. Consultants combine a thorough understanding of the FactSet applications with a strong knowledge of Finance and IT, and excellent communication skills. This commitment to service has helped us maintain our client retention rate of over 95%.

Responsibilities:

• Working on large scale projects that optimise our clients’ workflows
• Answering day to day client queries and providing creative solutions through our helpdesk
• Visiting clients in their offices to provide on-site consultation and training
• Training clients at their desks or in groups
• Managing a group of accounts assigned to you, ensuring that the relationship is healthy and that clients are getting the most out of the system

As you can see we expect a lot from our Consultants, but in return we offer exceptional ongoing training and support. Our Consulting programme starts with 8 weeks of intensive training spread over several months, giving you an insight into our products, our clients and the financial markets. This commitment to development will continue throughout your FactSet career with numerous opportunities to attend both business and personal skills training, work on specialist assignments and gain the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) qualification.

Requirements of the position:

• A good undergraduate degree or equivalent
• Strong numeric, analytical & problem solving skills
• Exceptional communication skills
• Experience in a client or customer facing role
• Fluent English and Dutch
• Good PC skills, in particular a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• A commercial attitude
• Willingness to travel

Although FactSet considers ambitious graduates from any discipline and candidates with industry experience, we favour those with a background in finance, business, mathematics, IT or economics.

Candidates should be prepared to spend their first few weeks in London for training. All accommodation and travel during this time will be arranged and paid for by the company.
