About the Department: Financial Services
Accenture’s Financial Services Operating Group regroups our industry experts in Capital Markets, Banking and Insurance. We work in close collaboration with our cross Operating Groups Service Lines (including Strategy, Customer Relationship Management, Finance & Performance Management, Human Performance, Supply Chain) and our System Integration & Technology experts .
Our clients are the key actors of the Financial Services industry. We are recognized as a privileged partner to accompany our clients in large transformation programs.
About the Function Within a team of experts in Capital markets, you will work on strategic and transformational missions.
You will work on a broad variety of subjects, including the following: • Trading / Brokerage – Brokerage and Trading of Securities (equities, bonds, derivatives, funds) – Trading of Forex and Money Markets Instruments • Asset Management – Fund Management and Administration – Wealth and Portfolio Management • Middle- and Back-Office – Middle and Back Office activities related to Securities, Forex and MM instruments (risk management, confirmation management, clearing, settlement, custody activities, reporting…) • Market Infrastructure – Exchanges – Clearing houses – CSD’s and ICSD’s
Your challenges
You will drive mission-critical projects such as:
Definition of operating models in cross-asset, cross-border environments;
Review and re-engineering of front-to-back processes and transaction flows;
Design and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and applications, based on industry leading packages and custom developments;
Set-up of streamlined back-office capabilities and shared services for the processing of cash and securities related transactions (clearing, settlement, custody, reconciliation, reporting…);
Design and implementation of new IT architectures, relying on pioneering concepts such as SOA;
Assessment of the impacts of new governmental and supranational rules and supporting the clients to cope with these new compliance standards (e.g. Basle II, MiFID).
You will work for major actors of the Financial Services Industry, such as:
Investment Banks and Brokers
Universal Banks
Asset and Fund Managers
Stock exchanges and Depositaries
Global Custodians
Your profile
We are looking for professionals with the following qualifications:
A Master degree in commercial engineering, civil engineering or a Master degree in economical sciences;
Three to five years of professional experience in one of the capital markets domains: Trading/brokerage, Asset Management, Middle and Back Office, Market infrastructure;
Relevant experience in project management;
Strong analytical skills;
Solid communication and interpersonal skills, team building and relationship building skills;
Team player;
Result oriented;
People management and coaching experience;
Affinity with IT;
Commercial spirit;
Affinity with large organizations and projects;
Good command of Dutch, French and English;
Willingness to work abroad.
