Prestigious investment management firm seeks experienced Modeler/developer/validator for financial modeling group. Candidates must have a degree in a hard science and be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills. Advanced degree preferred. Production quality C++/Java programming required and strong communication skills.
Prestigious investment management company seeks experienced modeler/developer/validator for financial modeling group. Duties include proposing designs for solving problems, implementing the solutions in C++, Java or other software tools, testing the model and deploying the model into production. Candidate will also document and validate the models and processes. Candidate will have 1 to 4 years of experience, strong analytical skills, strong programming skills and a degree in a hard science from a top university. Advanced degree preferred. Must be a team player with strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent compensation package. NYC location.
